Purpose The club provides an opportunity for people of all ages from across Derbyshire to participate in a sport both a a social and competitive level. Crown green bowls demands a certain amount of skill in terms of coordination and judgement but can be played by anyone of any age or ability. It is a great sport for those with more limited mobility as it offers good general exercise as there is a degree of bending, stretching and physical movement involved. Services We organise an active social calender with social bowls days organised through the summer with in-house competitions which serve to provide a fun and active day with a strong social element. These days help to combat loneliness and provides a vibrant and stimulating environment for all those who attend.

Baslow Bowls Club participate in crown green bowling at both a competitive and social level in a number of leagues including the Chesterfield and Matlock district.

Opening Times League matches are played on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Social bowling days are Tuesday, Friday and weekends. Beginners class are Monday morning.
Eligibility Criteria Anyone aged 10 and upwards can play from across Derbyshire and Sheffield. visitors are also welcomed from further afield.

Service Costs Membership fees are presently £60 per annum but subject to change.
