| Purpose | We provide the opportunity for children from the age of 8 to develop their athletic abilities. The safety and welfare of the athletes is of paramount importance and we always try yo accommodate children with special medial conditions. We are an inclusive club. the coaches are all CRB checked and either are qualified UK Athletics coaches or are in training. They are volunteers who have a love for athletics that they want to pass on to local children. |
| Services | We concentrate mainly on track and cross country activities, but also introduce the under 11's to all field events. We encourage participation in local, regional and national competitions and endeavour to put out full Buxton AC teams for these events whenever possible. We also hold an annual party, at which we give out prizes and awards for achievement and commitment as well just providing an enjoyable social event. |
