| Purpose | We are a friendly target archery club. Our large membership covers all abilities from all ages and walks of life, with a shared interest in enjoying the fantastic sport of archery. |
| Services | We meet informally for practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Sunday afternoons. Throughout the Summer we have a varied calendar of club competitions, but also run two Open Tournaments. In the Winter, we shoot indoors at a local sports hall. Across the year we compete in league shoots against other Derbyshire clubs, as well as putting on a variety of fun shoots and social events We also offer a 5 week course beginners course which will teach and build skills for safe and correct shooting technique, using trainer recurve bows. On successful completion of the course you will receive a certificate and be welcome to join our club as a full member. | Service Costs | Subscriptions 1st August 2014 to 31st July 2015: Senior £105, Junior (under 18) inc £10 parents’ Washlands subs £40, Junior joining with parent/guardian £30, Senior citizen (Lady 60/Gent 65) £85, Associate senior member £60. Late joiners 1st January 2015 to 30th April 2015: Senior £70, Junior £30. GNAS members are welcome to shoot as guests with us at the club (£2 guest fee) All courses cost £50. Have-a-go sessions at a cost of £6 per head. Groups of 10+ also have an option of £10 per head to include a light buffet at the end. |
