|Description||The 12th Burton 1st Tutbury & Hatton Scout Group group began in 1947. The group has grown over the years and is still growing with over 90 children attending on a regular basis.|

|Purpose||Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential by offering fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in communities. Scouts develop skills including teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative, planning, communication, self-motivation, cultural awareness and commitment.|
|Services||Weekly section meetings for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and a wide and varied programme throughout the year with day trips, camps, boat trips, Malvern expedition and the Winter camp at Edale, walking Man Tor, Kinder Scout, Hope Valley.|
