Purpose Field Lane Football Club are a non-profit making organisation, run by volunteers, for the benefit of young children and young adults, who wish to pursue the sport of competitive football. The club was founded in 1982 by a group of local parents, who recognised the need to organise sporting activities for children in the Field Lane area. Over a number of years the club has grown considerably, from just two teams, we now have over 16 teams playing in the Derby Mini Soccer League and Derby City League. We have teams from ages 6 to 18 plus two senior teams. In 2009 it was announced that Field Lane Football Club will start to develop into Girls Football.
