Purpose We are the national charity giving free and confidential help to victims of crime, witnesses, their family, friends and anyone else affected across England and Wales. We also speak out as a national voice for victims and witnesses and campaign for change.

We are not a government agency or part of the police and you don't have to report a crime to the police to get our help. You can call us any time after the crime has happened, whether it was last week or several years ago.

Victim Support is an outreach organisation who visit victims in their home to help people recover from the distress caused by crime. Trained volunteers give practical help and emotional support to people who have suffered as a result of crimes ranging from burglary to the murder of a relative.
Services Independent, free and confidential practical and emotional support for victims and witnesses of crime, their family and friends. Assistance attending court including pre-trial familiarisation visitss, assistanc ewith criminal injuries compensation claims and support in linking in with othe relevant servcices where criteria permits advocacy and commissioning of services.

Opening Times Court service Monday - friday during court opening hopurs. Victim Service by appointment, our Victim Care Unity is currently staffed between 8.00 am - 8>00 pm Monday - Friday.
Eligibility Criteria Available to victims, witnesses of crime falling within our core services.
Meeting Place Witnesses service - based on all criminal courts in Derbyshire. Victim Service by appointment at office or other suitable Derbyshire venues.
