| Purpose | The Thomas Theyer Foundation works to support children and young people with additional needs, their families and carers. We recognise the many benefits that physical exercise can bring and strive to increase access to various activities, particularly in the outdoors. |
| Services | We offer a free counselling service for children and young people with special educational needs or who are experiencing difficult life circumstances as well as a donation-based service for the parents and/or carers of those children. As we are a charity, sadly we cannot offer a free counselling service to everyone and as such, eligibility will be discussed in an initial assessment. We also offer a paid for counselling service open to the wider community following a free, initial assessment, sessions will be £40. Alongside the counselling aspects of the charity, we are involved with a wide range of sporting activities and opportunities across the high peak area. |
