| Services | Wingerworth Crown Green Bowling Club is a well-established bowls club at the heart of the Wingerworth community. The green is owned by the Wingerworth Parish Council and managed by the club. We have excellent facilities including a comfortable club house and a superb green. We have a growing membership of over 85 players. We are inclusive and friendly. We provide opportunities for social and league bowling and welcome anyone wanting to take up the sport no matter what their ability or experience. We provide coaching for those new to the sport or wishing to improve. We have a range of bowls available to borrow. We have welcomed many new members in 2021 and hope to have 100 members by the end of the season in October. We will offer try-out sessions every Sunday Morning between 10.00 and 12.00, during the season (Mar – Oct) when allowed – Contact Tracey or just come along on the day. If you can’t make a Sunday morning, we can organise an alternative. We are by the Cricket pitch/Tennis Courts in the centre of the village – Postcode S42 6QN. |
