Purpose The Inspire Choir is a non-auditioned learning disability friendly community choir for people over the age of 18. Possibly one of the only learning-disabled people led choirs in the UK!
We welcome everyone but the majority of our members, volunteers and supporters have a learning disability or autism.
Most of our choir members need some extra support to live their lives, from just a few hours a week to others need assistance and care available to them 24 hours a day.
The choir provides for our members opportunities to socialise, gain in confidence, make friends and take pride in the achievements they have gained together. We are a proper, well-rehearsed and proud choir, gaining in confidence with a repertoire of dozens of songs we have sung over several years.
