| Purpose | Our aim is to support families across Eckington Parish by providing free or low-cost activities and healthy food during the school holidays, when children may not have access to school meals or breakfast clubs. Many local families face financial pressures, making it difficult to afford days out, activities and nutritious food. Our events give children the opportunity to have fun, socialise and enjoy a healthy meal, while parents and carers can connect with others and take a break. They also provide an important opportunity to identify families who may be struggling and signpost them to further support. |
